Andrew Cumming is a Landscape Architect based in Paris. He completed the EMiLA European Masters in Landscape Architecture program in 2016, graduating with Distinction from the University of Edinburgh/Edinburgh College of Art. As part of the masters he also studied at the Ecole National Supérieure du Paysage in Versailles and the Amsterdam School of Architecture.
Since starting his undergraduate in 2011, he has been working independently with his own landscape design company to fund my studies whilst also coaching youth football.
He is currently particularly interested in participative, community projects as well as the role of the Landscape Architect as mediator. Although my influences are too many to mention, I have found myself often inspired by the work of Patrick Geddes, Stephen Halprin, Georges Descombes and more recently Michel Desvigne.
